About OpenEmotions™

OpenEmotions is an open research infrastructure initiative for representing emotional and affective concepts, their relationships, and the evidence around them. It exists to make affective knowledge easier to inspect, discuss, reuse and revise across research and computing.

Many applications need structured concepts, context, and provenance together. This project supplies a versioned foundation for that work while leaving uncertainty visible. Intended communities include psychology, neuroscience, affective computing, HCI, cognitive science, games, robotics, education and computational social science.
